FORFAR...

If you head along the High Street in Forfar you'll find more than a few pubs to wet your whistle and if you're looking for somewhere nice to eat out, most restaurants are located along the High Street and Castle Street. You can get anything from Turkish, to Chinese, Fast food and everything in -between.

Spend time browsing the many little gift shops around town, pop into Ferngreen Garden Centre and don't forget to try a Forfar Bridie, it should be easy with around 16 bakeries to choose from.

If you come away on holiday and realise you've forgot anything, not to worry because Asda, Tesco, Aldi & Lidl at all on your doorstep.

​

Forfar is located about 13 miles north of Dundee and 17 miles west of Montrose. It stands at the heart of Strathmore, the broad and agricultural valley which cuts right across the middle of Angus and extends into Perthshire to the South West.
